1. Who We Are

TLC Nagpur Member's Zone is operated by the Teaching Learning Community, Nagpur Chapter, in technical collaboration with Viprush Technologies (OPC) Pvt Ltd (CIN: U72900MH2017OPC296369), 191 Gandhinagar, Nagpur – 440010.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you provide directly:

• Account information: Full name, email address, phone number, TLC membership class
• Business profile: Business name, description, contact details, logo, cover image, gallery images, social media links, portfolio URL, video URL
• Reviews: Star rating and written review text
• Looking For posts: Your posted requirements
• Experience Hub posts and comments: Text content and attached files
• Enquiry messages: Name, email, phone, and message sent to other members

Data collected automatically:

• Session token: A secure cookie to keep you logged in (HttpOnly, not accessible to scripts)
• Business profile view counts: We count how many times a profile page is viewed (not tied to individual users)

We do not collect location data, device fingerprints, or browsing behaviour beyond what is described above. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate your account and provide Platform features
• To display your business profile to other logged-in members
• To send transactional emails (account approval, contact form relay) — we use Gmail SMTP for this
• To allow Chapter Admins to manage membership and content moderation
• To improve Platform performance and fix bugs

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Who Can See Your Data

• Your business profile: Business name, tagline, categories, and gallery are visible to all logged-in TLC Nagpur members. Contact details are only shown to logged-in members if you enable them.
• Public profile links: The profile page URL can be shared publicly, but contact details remain hidden unless the visitor is logged in.
• Experience Hub posts: Visible only to members of the specific group the post was made in.
• Chapter Admins and Super Admin: Can view all member accounts, business profiles, reviews, and hub posts for moderation purposes.
• Viprush Technologies: As technical operator, Viprush staff may access data for maintenance, debugging, and security purposes. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.

5. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored on a secure virtual private server hosted by DigitalOcean (Frankfurt/Bangalore region) and managed by Viprush Technologies.
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we cannot recover your password.
• All connections to the Platform are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Uploaded files (logos, images, hub attachments) are stored on the same server and served only over HTTPS.

6. Data Retention

• Your account data is retained for as long as your TLC Nagpur membership is active.
• If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Business profiles and public reviews may be anonymised rather than deleted to preserve the integrity of the directory.
• Hub posts you delete are removed immediately. Deleted posts cannot be recovered.

7. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data (you can do this directly from your profile settings)
• Erase your data (request account deletion via the Chapter Admin)
• Withdraw consent at any time (note: some processing is necessary to operate your account)
• Grievance redressal — contact us at [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days

See our Cookie Policy for full details. We use only one essential cookie — your login session token. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

9. Third-Party Services

• Gmail (Google): Used to send transactional emails. Your email address is transmitted to Google's SMTP servers when an email is sent to you. Google's Privacy Policy applies to this processing.
• YouTube: If a business adds a YouTube video link, a thumbnail image is loaded directly from YouTube's servers. YouTube may set cookies when this happens. No other YouTube integration exists.
• Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN. Google may log your IP address when serving these. You can disable this in your browser.

10. Children's Privacy

This Platform is intended for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
